Shipping and Delivery Information
For larger deliveries we are using a courier to collect and deliver orders placed online using our website. Items are collected and delivered within 3-5 days, we want our customers to receive their orders as soon as possible and we feel that this is the best way of doing so. This will not affect the flat rate shipping charge.
FROM 1st OCTOBER 2009 - FOR ORDERS OVER £15.00 WE WILL APPLY A FLAT RATE SHIPPING CHARGE OF £3.49.
Excludes inflated balloon deliveries.
All other orders below £15 will be shipped at our usual rates.
Our shipping rates are based upon the weight of the product.
Cards are shipped at minimal cost to you.

To help protect the environment we try to recycle all of our packaging.
Method of Postage
Your order will be securely packed and delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class Royal Mail, unless you choose a different service at an additional cost This is not a guaranteed next day service and can take 2-5 working days.
Please note this is not a guaranteed service. We can't accept claims for non-delivery for fifteen working days after the date of posting, Royal Mail will not let us. If your parcel doesn't turn up in the time you expected, please check as it may be at your nearest Royal Mail delivery office, and you will not have received a card to let you know. Almost every time a quick check with the Royal Mail finds it sitting on a shelf. If you want to make absolutely sure you receive your goods in time, we suggest you use the courier service.
Items are not sent by recorded or registered mail unless requested. There are no next day deliveries over bank holidays.
We recommend when ordering fragile items we may choose to use a dedicated courier to deliver these to you, we will let you know if this is the case as delivery using this method can take 3-5 working days.
We do not send items out on Bank Holidays. Your order will be sent out on the Tuesday following the weekend.
Explaining Shipping Costs
Sometimes a customer will receive an order and wonder why they have been charged £3.49 to send an item when it cost less to post, this is because we have to take into account the administration costs of sending an order, and taking it to the Post Office etc. We try to keep our postage and packing costs minimal to ensure that you get a great experience when you shop with Perfect Party.
Yankee Candle
All orders of Yankee Candle will now be eligable for our flat rate shipping charge of £3.49. Either order online or over the phone on 0121 745 5849. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Out of Stock Items
Should an item become out of stock while you are ordering you will receive an email from us asking if you would like to cancel or back order the product.
Substitutions
If you order an item which is out of stock we will substitute it for a similar design unless you state that you do not want to accept substitutions.
What if I am not in when my order comes
A card will be left for you, please arrange to collect or have your parcel re-delivered as soon as possible to avoid it being returned to Perfect Party. Items that need to be resent from us will incurr a postage charge.
Balloon Deliveries
Balloons are fragile items and although the majority of postal balloon deliveries arrive at their destination unharmed some do pop or are damaged during transit. This is beyond our control and no claims for refund can be made.
Returns
We accept returns if they are made within 14 days of the original purchase, the items must be returned to us unopened and in perfect resaleable condition. The goods remain your responsibility until we receive them back, so we strongly suggest using some kind of registered mail. When we recieve the items back please allow 28 days for us to process your refund to your credit or debit card. The payment of postage to return the items is your own responsibility.
Please note that we do not accept returns on jewellery unless faulty.

Collection of goods from our store
Should you wish to place an order online and collect it from our store please place your order as normal and write in the additional information box that you wish to collect it. We will refund your postage and packing cost instore when you collect.
Our Gift Wrapping Service
We will gift wrap your purchases for you at an additional cost - which will be detailed on the item description. Where appropriate the items will be wrapped with either plain gift wrap with no message print. Or in the case of Yankee Candles or gift baskets we will use cellophane wrap.
